Programming Contest Results

These are the results from the past few years of going to programming contests. We typically attend 2 contests each year. The first one is usually held in the beginning of October, and is the CCSC-E contest. The CCSC is the Consortium for Computer Science in Colleges. This is a 3-day conference for computer science faculty, but there is also a programming contest held there. Moravian tends to do very well there, usually placing in the top three.

The second contest is the ACM contest, which is far more competitive. At this contest, Moravian is up against schools in the entire Mid-Atlantic region, such as schools from Virginia Tech, Swarthmore, Bucknell, and Duke. In recent years, at least one team from Moravian has consistently scored in the top five at our site, Wilkes University. This year, Moravian took first place at Wilkes and eighth throughout the entire Mid-Atlantic region.
